On August 27, 2026, We Create The Peace hosted its first Inaugural Gala & Awards in Houston, and what an unforgettable evening it was.
To every guest, sponsor, partner, and volunteer who joined us, thank you. Together, we shared an evening of intention, connection, and celebration, and honored three outstanding officers for their resilience and lasting impact in our community.
Your presence and generosity mean more than words can express. This was only the beginning, and we could not be more excited for the future we're building together, for our youth, for our officers, and for our communities.
Our Story
We Create The Peace was established from the founder's longstanding career and research in police mental health and wellness, with a mission to extend accessibility to holistic resources for officers and to strengthen the relationship between civilians and those who serve.
We equip officers with the tools to manage the demands of their profession and to engage their communities from a place of wellness and stability, recognizing that many interactions between officers and community members take place in authoritative settings. In response, we intentionally create non-authoritative opportunities for connection, spaces where trust can be built through shared, positive experiences.
Taking a holistic view of public safety, we believe that strong, healthy communities are rooted in mutual understanding between officers and civilians. That is why we invest in youth, equipping elementary-aged students with wellness skills while fostering early, meaningful engagement with law enforcement. At this formative stage, these experiences hold the greatest potential to shape perception, build trust, and support a more connected and cooperative future.
With the support of community leaders and members, we have positively impacted multiple police departments and hundreds of students. Our vision is to expand these programs nationally, increasing access and deepening impact across communities. Thank you for your interest in joining us in this mission.
