Our Story

We Create The Peace was founded to expand access to wellness resources for police departments with limited dedicated funding for such programs. Our mission is to ensure that officers are equipped with the tools to manage the demands of their profession—supporting stress recovery, suicide prevention, and the development of self-regulation so they can effectively de-escalate situations and sustain long, healthy careers. We also recognize that many interactions between officers and community members take place in authoritative settings. In response, we intentionally create non-authoritative opportunities for connection—spaces where trust can be built through shared, positive experiences.

Taking a holistic view of public safety, we believe that strong, healthy communities are rooted in mutual understanding between officers and civilians. That’s why we invest in youth, equipping elementary-aged students with wellness skills while fostering early, meaningful engagement with law enforcement. At this formative stage, these experiences have the greatest potential to shape perception, build trust, and support a more connected and cooperative future.

With the support of community leaders and members, we have been able to positively impact multiple police departments and hundreds of students. Our vision is to expand these programs nationally, increasing access and deepening impact across communities. Thank you for your interest in joining us in this mission. Together, we can create the peace we want to see in the world.
